PulbuSHEl} EVERTf FRIDAY
McGOIJIRk-JAMES
A social event which created quite
a bit of surprise was the marriage of
Mr. Jesse A. James and Miss Chris
tine McGouirk, which occuTed at the
home of the bride on Friday evening
Rev. W. H. Clark officiating in
pretty but impressive manner.
The attendants were, Mr. Glen
Campbell and* Miss Frances Aber
crombie.
There were no invitations issued, it
being the desire of the contracting
parties to have the affair S3 quiet as
possible.
The’ bride is the pretty and accom.
plished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P:
H. McGouirk, whose friends are as
numerous as the sands of the sea, and
who as a social favorite was a reign
ing belle.
The 'groom is a son of Mr. J. W.
James, and a young man of fine busi.
ness qualities, whose character is as
pure and spotless as the dew that
kisses the petals of the rose, who
stands well in both social and busi
ness circles.
The Sentinel extends congratula
tions to Mr. and Mrs. James. May
: their life’s. journey be one of sun-
| shine, and their last days the hap
piest at them all.
