the reliability and economy iun from Sacramento
to Lake Tahoe on June 25.
The tour covered 260 miles over the high Sierra
Mountains the grade beginning at 60 feet above
sea level and finishing at an altitnde of 8000 feet.

gallon of gasoline and made a perfect score of 1000
points. The DORT winning the second prize scored

This question is being asked us every day by

line is on the decrease, but most of the declines
are very small. The only thing that has declined
to amount to anything is vSilks, Silk Hose and Silk
Skirts. These goods are off from the highest
prices 25 per cent to 50 per cent. Low Grade
Clothing is off 10 per cent to 25 per cent. High
Grade Clothing is not any cheaper. Shoes (1I( ire off
some from the high point. Hats are higher than
ever. Men’s Medium priced Shirts such as ^Madras,
Percales, etc., are not any cheaper. Underwear is
high and scarcer. But let the prices go where they
may, you will always find us right on the job and
will follow every decline as fast as they come and
will meet any prices any time, anywhere. We did
not buy our goods to keep.
