The -Methodist Missionary Society
will entertain all of the grandmothers
of the town Tuesday afternoon, April
13th, from 2 o'clock until 5 o’clock, at

The T. E ,L. dim.-- of the Baptist
church was entertained very delight
fully on Tuesday afternoon of last
week by Mrs. W. M. Almand and
Mrs. J. R. McKoy, joint hostesses.
An interesting program was render
ed by several of the members.
After a study of the lesson, Mrs. H.
C. Dorris, teacher of the class, gave
a talk on how to make the class a
better one.
At the close of the meeting, Mos-
dames Almand and McKoy served an
ice course with pound cake.
The class will meet April 20th with

The W. C. T. U. held a very inter
esting meeting at the home of Mrs. A.
W. McLarty on Monday afternoon,
