Then to Miss Sara’s surprise,
her mother brought in a large
cake with 3 candles, each repre
senting 5 years, and asked each
one present to cut a piece from
the beautiful birthday cake which
she had baked for Sara’s 15th
birthday.
The board of Stewards of the
Methodist church were delight
fully entertained with an oyster
supper at the home of Mr. J. T.
Duncan on Tuesday evening. Af
ter enjoying the eats, matters of
interest to the church were taken
