Julge Price Edwards is in the race
for Judge of the Tallapoosa Circuit,
and his entrance will doubtless com
plicate matter a considerably.
His recent record is fresh in the
memory of the voters and his repu
tation as a JuriBt is among the best.
He ha 8 a host of friends in Douglas
County who will rally to him.
There is a great tcndercy now to
ward dairying and poultry raising on
the farms throughout Georgia and it
should be encouraged. There is noth
ing that will do more to put farming
on a cash basis and have money com
ing in every day in the year.

wick workers going to Walker. The
indications are that samebody will

Fo r more than six months I have
been strongly urged to make the race
for Judge of thi s Circuit. I was
disinclined to enter the contest and
so stated in a card published some
weeks back.
Within the last few weeks these
requests to run have become so gene
ral and urgent from all parts of the
circuit that I am convinced that it
is my duty to comply with them and I
now so announce to the voters of the
circuit.
If my candidacy meets with your
approval I shall strive to discharge
the duties of the office with prompt
ness and a due regard to the rights
of litigants and with a 8 little ex
pense to the tax payers as possible.
