A Fire at Sycamore.
Sycamore, Ga., Jan. 27.—The in¬
habitants of this town were aroused
from their slumbers about 2 o’clqck
this morning by the alarm of fire.
It was in the residence of Mr. Janies
Van Houtcn and his aged lady, who
reside alone in, the building. The
fire was discovered by the neighbors
barely in time to Save the lives of
alie old couple, as they escaped just
before the roof fell in. Nothing was
saved. The loss is estimated at
about $800. No insurance.
