occupying it.
Judge Clements months ago an¬
nounced his determination to break
up gambling in the county, and it
might be well for those interested
to take heed.
Mr. E. T. James’ family has ar¬
rived and occupy the nice cottage
corner Fourth and Alder streets.
The Dispatch hopes their stay in
Ocilla may be long, pleasant and
profitable.

Judge Dave Roberts, of Eastman,
spent several days at court this
week. It is understood that he will
be in the race for the judgeship of
this circuit.
It developed at court that Mr.
II. W. Bussey would likely be in
the race for the next state senator-
ship. If tliis proves to be a settled
fact, “Wes” will be a hard nag to
beat.

The Dispatch wants to say to
those who hunger for the patronage
it is receiving, and who are misrep.
resenting it, that they will receive
attention at the proper time and in
a manner that they will not fail to
understand.
You have doubtless noticed that
the Dispatch is kicking up no dust
about “one man power” and thfe
like in Irwin. The other fellows
would be equally as quiet if they
had secured the county printing.
There is no doubt as to where the
shoe is pinching them.
