Mrs. Dassu Folsom, of Dear Adel ’

wonderful little woman. Over two
years ago her husband was killed by

the burden of life where he laid it
down. She has two farms and nine
children, the oldest not seven years

The Belled Buzzard Killed.
Mr. II. B. Martin, of Goodman,
Ga., killed a belled buzzard Novern-
ber 8th. The buzzard was wilh |
buzzards. Mr. Martin and
others heard the tinkling of the bell
and finally located it, when Mr.
Martin shot and killed the buzzard.

The bell is in Mr. Martin’s pos-
session. It is a small brass bell,
such as is used on ships. It was
fastened around the buzzard’s neck
wilh a leather collar, with a wire
“S’’ running through the stem or
neck of the bell. Possibly you will
hear more from it, when 1 have time
to fully clean it and get a glass to
read the inscription.
No news of general interest. The
nervous system of most of the peo¬
ple is relaxing from the swail pox
scare.

attack of the breaking out several
months ago. Wednesday he had
another attack of the disease, fully
as bad as the first one, from which
he had fully recovered. You can
