The southern cotton planters need
some scheme whereby they can hold
their cotton until they are satisfied
with the market price. As it now
is, a majority of them are forced to
se ^ a time when the price is the
lowest, and it is believed by many
each year they are the helpless
victims of speculators. The most
feasible plan of relief yet suggested
is the bonded warehouse, and we
hope to see it given a fair trial.
