Dorminy-Dixon.
The beautiful residence of lion.
M. Dickson, of this county, was the
scene of a happy event on the even¬
ing of the 27 th. The occasion was
the marriage of his daughter, Rach¬
el, to Mr. Jack J. Dorminy.
A large number friends were pres¬
ent and the evening was enjoyed by
everyone. The home was beautifully
illuminated and decorations were
profuse and artistic. At about 0
o’clock Mr. Dorminy led his beau¬
tiful bride to the altar, where Rev.
W. M. Bliteh pronounced the words
which made them “man and wife.”
Mrs. J. H. Rountree played “the
wedding march.”
After the marriage a half hour
was speut in conversation, inter¬
spersed with music by Mr. and Mrs.
Rountree and recitations by Miss
Annie Dickson, and the guests were
invited into the dining room where
and exquisite supper was served.
Many and useful were the presents.
The bride is the oldest daughter of
our County School Commissioner
and shares his popularity and esteem
among a large circle of acquaint¬
ances and friends. Her personal
charms are marked and her accom¬
plishments rare. The groom is a
member of one of Irwin county’s
most prminent and prosperous fam¬
ilies and is a young man of good
charcter and sterling business quali¬
fications and has already attained to
great success in business as a mer¬
chant and saw mill and tupentine
operator.
To this happy couple the Enter¬
prise extends hearty congratulations
and joins their host of friends in
wishing them a full measure of earth¬
ly joys and prosperity.—Fitzgerald
Enterprise. Mr. Jack Dorminey is
one of the handsomest and best
young men in Wiregrass Georgia,
and it is in accordance with the
eternal fitness of things that he
should win one of the lovliest maid

lives be a scene of bliss long drawn
out.
