FEB O. ,Q A i 896. In memory off Alex S. Death has invaded the hap¬ py circle of our school and borne off one of our best brightest boys. We are sad and sorrowful that the smiling face, the loving tender voice, of dear Alex Tilley, ceases to be seen and heard in our midst. He has gone to join the angel band. We wou’d not call thee from thy ’ sweet resting place back to the sorrows of earth again. He is now free of pain, awaiting the coming of loved ones. But we miss him so much ! Never will the va¬ cant place in our school be filled. By it resolved, That while we deplore the loss we bow in hum¬ ble submission and say’ “Fath¬ er Thy will, not ours, be done” and Resolved, That, our school lias lost one of its brightest stu¬ dents and one that Holds our memory as a beloved school¬ mate and friend, and Resolved, That oar sympa¬ thies are extended to the be reaved family in their sore af¬ flictions and Resolved, That the family of our beloved brother be furnish¬ ed with a copy of these resolu¬ tions, and that they be pub¬ lished in the Weekly.
