Jury Presentments.
We had hoped to furnish out
readers with the grand jury
presentments with this issue of
the Weekly, hut the document
is a rather voluminous one and
it the last moment we found it
impracticable to do so. How¬
ever, some very important mat¬
ters are discussed by the jury
and many worthy recomenda
tions made. The most impor¬
tant of the lot, perhaps, is the
one looking to a new jail. The
Judge added his demand to this
recomendation and it is very
likely that it v ill be effective.
We will give the presentments
in full next week -

Solicitor Kimsey is profuse in
his praise of the grand jury.

and Mr. H. Y. McCord, clerk.
From all accounts Mr. McCord
makes a model clerk. Solicitor
Kimsey thinks it one of the best
grand juries the whole country
could have produced.
