3, Vhe efTort of any newspaper
to build up a town is practically
nul ilied unless it is backedup by
the business men of thtft town.
A stiauger turns from the nows
columns of a paper to its adver¬
tising columns, ana if he fails
to find there the business of the
merchants and professional
tirnis, he comes to the conclu¬
sion that the editor is not ap¬
preciated, ii} which case it is a
gpdd place to keep clear of No
town ever grew without the as
tietanse of its paper. Nor can
papers grow and build up their
localities without the assistance
of the town, Business men
should realize this and remem.
! A j 4jr x,
ber that in lending support to
their local paper, they are not
only building their own buy
ness, but are helping to sup¬
port that which is steadily
working far ihe best interests
of the whole town.—Waycross
