is separated from the world and that
when the Christian becomes allied

The services at the Baptist church
have been protracted during the week.
Meetings have been held
and evening and the preaching by the
pastor has been earnest and faithful.
Much interest has been taken and tbe
series of meetings give pronise of rich
rewards to come. Two accessions have
been made to the church up to the pres¬
ent writing and the church membership
generally has been greatly revived.
The pastor lias done the preaching so far
and will continue through Sunday,
lie has secured the services of Rev. 3.
It, 0. Adams, of Newuau, far next week,
xiev. Mr. Adams is one of the strongest
preachers in the state and the people
of Conyers wiilhave a rare opportunity
of hearing this distinguished preacher
next week. All the people of all denomi¬
nations are cordial’y invited to attend
the services and use their Christian
influence for God and the salvation of
souls .

It will be interesting to many to
know that Dr. Qaigg will preach next
Sabbath morning at the Presbyterian
church. His subject will be “The
Atonement.” Dr. Qaigg will present
this important theme from the stand¬
point of reason, experience and scrip
ture. There will be no service at

Western firm and have been notified

Material for the new Methodist
church wifi begin to arrive here bv June
1st The contract will be let, unless

day. The building committee has de¬
cided to use brick aud the edifice will be
a convenient and beautiful one.
