The nortliern section of the fire depart
ment responded to an alarm from box No
il. at Hull and COBgresa streets, last
night. The fire was diacovetXhl on the

The blaze was a email one. and a tub
of water and a hand lire extinguisher
served to dissipate the danger In short

The tire, when M was discovered, was In
a plating vm and a pile of waste and

had leaked out on the floor and In some

and they smelled the smoke and reached
