Independence for the
American Cigar Smoker
That's What
The American Cigar Company Stands For
You can’t be an independent smoker as long
as you depend on somebody else to select your
cigars for you.
You must know what you want and get it.
The “Triangle A” means freedom.
It means better cigars of every grade than
the best made under old conditions.
It's the Identification Mark of Cigar Quality
Do you realize that you have
always bought cigars without any
reliable guide as to quality, value
or condition? The question is:
How can you know you are getting
the best cigar for your money ?
You can be sure before you buy.
Wherever you buy, whatever
price you pay, whatever your
taste, you wilL find the best cigar
for your money in boxes bearing
the "Triangle A”mark of merit
- no matter what the brand name.
This "A” (Triangle A) mark
identifies the product of recently
perfected processes of fermenting
and blending extensively applied
on scientific principles in the
American Cigar Company’s im
mense specially-constructed stpm-
meries—exclusive methods beyond
the knowledge or facilities of ordi
nary manufacturers.
i^a^cREMO
Every box is now extra-wrapped in glassine paper, sealed at each
end with the "Triangle A” in red. The cigars are kept clean, fresh
and in perfect smoking condition until the box is opened.

OP A.&W.P. TRACK
Since the announcement that the At
lanta, Birmingham and Atlantic would
not operate trains Into Atlanta from
LaOrange over the rails of the Atlanta
and West Point. It has developed that
u higher authority whispered Into the
ear of ('. A. Wlckershatn. president of
iho West Point Route, and the deal
was Immediately called off.
This higher voice Is credited to the
Central of Georgia railroad, backed up
hy Its owner, the Southern railway.
The Atkinson system la somewhat of
a competitor of the Central of Georgia
In the south western portion of the
state and with Its steamship system.
This possibly explains partially the
main reasons for choking the new road
off from Atlanta.
The change of front of the manage
ment of tlx* West Point Route caused
considerable surprise, as the officials of
the Atkinson system had made all an-
nouncemets and arrangements for In
augurating through service from
Brunswick to Atlanta laat Hunday. As
It stands now. no serv ice over the new
road will begin until Its completion
next fall. In the meanwhile It Is ex
pected that the Central will do what It
can to keep the Atkinson system from
making arrangements to enter the At
lanta Terminal station.
