bery was committed yesterduy at the
ticket office of the Xsoutnvllle and Nash
ville and Alabama Great Southern rail
ways In the Prlntup Hotel building.
The thief secured $67 from the safe.
The robbery was committed on the ar
rival of the 11:30 o’clock Louisville and
Nashville passenger train and the wait
ing rooms were full of people nt the
time. Agent M. L. Foster had Just
stepped outside of the door to receive a
package from the baggageman cn the
train and neglected to lock the safe
door. No clew to the thief has been
discovered.
