are four glean tic horseshoes and four snmll-
ar ones, trimmed In the colors of the horse
show.
The window of Chamberlln-Johnson-pu-
Bose Co. represents three boxes at the
horse show, occupied by handsomely dress
ed models. It Is a very life-like representa
tion. Iu the background Is ahown three
large horseshoes decorated with (lowers and
whips.
In each of the two windows nt Pnvlson-
Faxon Stokes Co. are suspended large horse
heads done In imitation mirble and Inclosed
In horseshoes of the same material. A
horse’s Itrldlc and a number of riding and
driving whips are also artistically displayed.
The window of M. filch A Bros. Co. Is
handsomely decorated with the horse show
colors. Two handsomely designed horse
shoes are displayed, each of which Is titled
with electric ball* to make the display
most effective at night.
The Keely Co. window was art elaborate
display.

arse- show is to be one of the most im

paid to this fact either by a liberal use of
the horse show colors or by a display of a
riding whip or some other horse show ap
purtenance.

Miss Louise DuBoae, of Athena, one
of the most expert young horsewomen
In the state. Is Miss Marian Peel’s Invited

another Athens girl who Is a favorite

Miss Katherine Trigg, of Chattanoo
ga, who owns and drives a beautiful
horse, will visit her sister, Mrs. Andrew
Calhoun, nnd will he among the belles
of the occasion.
Miss Bessie Miller, of Macon, will
spend the week with Miss Mary Brent
Smith and win be entertained with the
lavish hospitality characteristic of the
mansion.
Miss Nellie Campbell, also a popular
Chattanooga girl, will arrive In Atlanta
Monday to visit Mins Samtiollu Whit
man. Miss Campbell will be a member
of the box party which Mr. Simmons
Is to give Tuesday evening, and will be
one of the most beautifully gowned
young women present.
Misn Claire Ripley, of Macon, who j
has bfen spending the summer at Qal- I
veston. Texas, will arrive In Atlanta
TUeiday for the marriage of Miss Todd
and Mr. Thomas, and will be umnng
the attractive visitors seen at the horse
show. Miss Lula Phillips, of Tnrboro.
N. C.. will come on Wednesday to be
Miss Todd’s guest also.
Miss Crutchfield and Miss Barron are
two attractive Macon girls who are en
thusiastic riders, and who nre among
the out-of-town girls Invited to take
part in the horse show.

Mrs. Leonard Day, of New York, for
merly Miss Adelaide Allen, of Atlanta.

to be seen at the Coliseum this week.
