Albany, da., Dec. 36.—At the regular
meeting of city council Tuesday night
the locker club question came up for
discussion, and from opinions expressed
by various members. It Is quite likely
that a prohibitive tax \ylll be placed on
locker clubs when the license ordl-
nnnee for 1908 Is drawn up next month.
The petition will probably be tuken
up and acted upon nt the first meeting
of the new council oa. the first Mon
day In January, when the license or
dinance for the yeur will be adopted.
