VALDOSTA, Ga., July 9.—The areht-
tect's drawings for the United States
court house and postoffice to be erected
in Valdosta have been received from
the office of the eupervislng architect
In Washington. The drawings show
that the building will be a'very hand
some and commodious one. It will be
three stories with a basement and will
he constructed of white marble. The
contract for the construction of the
building will be let on the 16th Inst.,
nnd It is expected that work on It will
be commenced In a very short while
after. The persons who sold the site
for the building to the government are
now clearing off the lot.
