FOR CHATHAM COUNTY
SAVANNAH. G«„ Deo. 15.—With a
second grand Jury recommendation, the
law passed by the legislature, provid
ing for a juvenile court for Chatham
county, became operative yesterday.
Judge Walter G. Charleton la empow
ered to create the court and appoint the
necessary omcers.,

Postmaster Harry - Edwards and Clark
Greer, the marshal stated that he was
not worrying over the Investigation
which is now being made by Examiner
Blelnskl. of the Justice department
Marshal White stated .Monday that
he expected to be reappointed either
Tuesday or Wednesday by President
Roosevelt, and that the charges made
by Edwards and Greer grew out of the
recent political fight.
Mr. Edwards, however, stated that
while at the Slnton Hotel In Cincinnati
Marahnl White behaved himself In a
manner unbecoming to an onicer of the
United States government.
