Vantm e s. Oriental Sweets
Down the left main aisle, beyond the ele
vators, you'll find it. A little trellised canopy,
trailed with the yellow laburnum (very like our
wisteria, hut in the sunniest yellows) overhangs a
section of the notion' counters. There's Ninsei
pottery in quaint odd shapes. Dutch ware and
Japanese things. These are for sale as well as for
decoration, of course.
Then there's the Sweets display, a delightful
place /for some Holiday shopping.
Most people don't think their visits to New
York are complete without a little journey to
Vantine's. And very few of them. come home
> without several packets of Vantine Oriental
Sweets.
They are unusual sweets and delicacies-—
these Oriental confections. Put up in the daintiest
of wrappings, and the most artistic little canisters
and boxes; the smallest of them is a pretty souve
nir in itself.'
And then the goodies themselves are so good
—so different.
Now we've brought a hit of Vantine's right
to you—with pretty things for your parties, odd
little dainties you can get nowhere else here.
They'll come to us fresh every week and we as
sure you of their perfect cleanliness.
Here's ^*° 2* ve an ^ ea * ^ ere 8 a list of the
* ... sweets we have now on sale, with their
prices. Everything is in packages, so
there's no unnecessary handling—no contact with
dust.
