Fire Causes Big Loss.
Medway, Mass., June 24.—A $50,000
fire that threatened to burn out the
center of the town today destroyed
Samford hall, a large business build
ing. Firemen were summoned from
neighboring towns and pumps In the

he received when a large motor truck
ran over him near his home In Vlne-
vllle. The truck ran across his body
but he got up and went to his home and

eral hours after. An operation was
necessary and his recovery is in doubt.
