Moroccan Rebels Recruit by
Beacon for Movement
Against City.
PARIS May 10. —Attack upon the
Moroccan capital of Fez by rebellious
tribesmen is imminent, according to a
telegram from that city received here
today. The message stated that the
situation is hourly becoming more
alarming
The tribes about the city have been
worked into a high state of excitement
by theirVheiks and priests, and nightly
signal fires are lighted calling natives
to arms. The Zemmour tribes are In
open revolt and are joining the Ben!
Warain warriors who are preparing to
attack this city. General Lyautev. the
French commander, has been instruct
ed to make the best terms possible with
the natives, but there is little hope that
his overtures will be met.

Dr. Bogue, happy in the knowledge
that the day for his marriage to Miss

"Me wanna piece paper to wite on,"
she imperiously demanded.
Too much engrossed to know —or

letters from his pocket and went on
talking to Miss Hyams. Something
was said about expenses of the wed

he had handed it to Evelyn with the

had calmly eaten it.
Dr. Bogue has telegraphed home for

ANOTHER CALLS
RICHESON INSANE
Governor to Present Findings to
Council Before Deciding on
Commutation Application.
BOSTON, May 10.—’•Clarence V. T.
Richeson is not a sane man. He is
not mentally responsible ”
This is the statement made public
today by Dr. I-a dor H. Coriat, an emi
nent alienist. Dr. Coriat made a secret
examination of Richeson, who is con
demned to die in the week beginning
May 19 for the murder of Avis Linnell.
spending two hours with th4 man last
Wednesday. He has handed his report
to the governor, and it will be one of
the exhibits which will be sent to the
executive council when Richesoti’s
plea for commutation is. referred to
them
That the plea will be referred to the
council there was little doubt today.
Governor Foss has let it be known that
if he is convinced Richeson is not sane
he will take such action, and the re
ports of Dr. Edward B Lane, Dr. Co
riat and Dr. L. Vernon Briggs are be
lieved to leave no doubt at this point.
It is known on the best authority that
Dr. Briggs will report the prisoner not
sane.
Examined by Questions.
Dr. Coriat is head of the neurological
department of the city hospital. He did
not make a physical examination of
the condemned man. He simply en
couraged Richeson to talk of his early
life, and asked questions, comparing the
answers with the true facts of the for
mer clergyman’s history supplied the
alienists by the attorneys for the de
fense.
Richeson did not always tell the
truth Sometimes he tried to evade
pertinent questions regarding unpleas
ant Incidents of his career.
All these things—Richeson’s false
hoods or veracity, his willingness or
refusal to reveal certain phases of his
history, his early environment and ex
periences—were considered by Dr. Co
riat ip arriving at his positive deci
sion that Richeson is not sane today,
nor was hr fully responsible for his act
when he handed to Avis Linnell the
drug that killed her.

Grandmother’s
Bridal Gown
The wedding of Miss Mary Cooper,
the only daughter of Mrs. Hunter P.
Cooper, to Mr. Winehip Nunnally was a
beautiful event of last evening, taking
place at the home of the bride’s moth
er on Peachtree street. The bridal par
ty was grouped for the ceremony before
an of palms, and under a four
leaf canopy of white peonies and white
sweetpeas, fringed with lilies of. the
valley, in the drawing room. The maid
of honor was Miss Frances Nunnally
and the best man was Mr. Bowie Mar
tin. Rev. Richard Orme Flinn per
formed the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a gown of
rare old lace, which was worn by her
great-grandmother as a bride. The
lace was draped over soft white char
meuse and caught with tiny knots of
French flow ers. The long tulle veil was
arranged with lace and flowers, and
the Jewels worn with the bridal toilet
were a necklace of pearls with a dia
mond pendant, the bridegroom's gift,
and a diamond pin, the gift of the
bride’s uncle, Mr. Henry Tucker. The
bride’s flowers were of white orchids,
tied with soft white streamers.
Miss Nunnally, the maid of honor and
sister of the bridegroom, was gowned in
white silk marquisette combined with
Irish lace over white, with a girdle of
rose pink taffeta. Her flow-ers were
lavender orchids and valley lilies.
The decorations throughout the
apartments were elaborate. In the
drawing room a w hite and green color
scheme was carried on with palms
smllax, ferns, white sweetpeas and
white peonies.
In the reception hall the decorations
were in pink peonies and carnations
The staircase was covered with smilax
and clusters of pink carnations. Tall
palms stood on either side of the stair
way.
In two upper apartments the hand
some array of wedding gifts was dis
played. In addition to silver, cut glass,
pictures, gold and jeweled gifts dis
played. the young couple received from
Mr. J. H. Nunnally, father of the bride
groom, a Peachtree street residence lot,
on which a handsome home will be
erected; a beautiful suit of Sheraton
dining room furniture, given by Mrs.
Nunnally; a solid silver dinner service,
given by the bride's mother; a chest of
flat silver, from Tiffany’s, given by Mr.
and Mrs. George Winship.
Mrs. Cooper, the bride's mother, was
gowned for the wedding in black em
broidered chiffon over white satin. Mrs.
Nunnally, the bridegroom's mother,
wore-a taffeta two-toned costume in
shades of rose and pale green, made in
th epannier style over a cream colored
satin under robe, with corsage garni
ture of the same lace.
The wedding was witnessed by a
limited number of guests. The recep
tion which was to have followed was
.omitted on account of the recent illness
of the bride,
Mr. and Mrs. Nunnally left this morn
ing for Atlantic City, and after a stay
there they will go to Hot Springs, Va.,
for a visit.
The charming bride is unusually ac
complished, having spent several years
abroad in completing her education.
She is the daughter of the late Dr.
Hunter P. Cooper and a granddaughter
of tlie late Dr. Tucker. The bridegroom ,
is the only son cf Mr. James H Nun- I
nally. He is a member of the social I
clubs and one of the most prominent I
younger men of the city.

Springtime Aids to Beauty
By CLEO DE GALYS.
, "A genuine complexion beautifier is
made at home by dissolving an original
package of mayatone in a half pint of
witch hazel. Gently rub this solution
over the face, neck and forearms in the
morning and it will ‘hold’ all day. It
will not rub off nor show like powder
and makes the skin soft, satiny and
pliable.
"No toilet table is complete without a
jar of Mother’s Salve. It is a splendid
remedy for chaps, cold sores, pimples,
eczema and skin eruptions. It is anti
■septic and heals cuts, burns, scalds and
long-standing sores.
“A safe, sure and speedy way to re
move superfluous hair on face or fore
arms Is by applying delatone paste. Mix
enough powdered delatone and water
to cover the hairs, apply, and wipe off
after two or three minutes: then wash
the skin and the hairs will be gone.
"Soap and water dull and deaden
hair. It is better to use a dry shampoo
to clean the hair and scalp. Mix four
ounces of powdered orris root with an
original package of therox, sift a tea
spoonful over the head and brush thor
oughly through the hair. This treat
ment makes the hair grow long and
abundant, and it becomes bright, wavy 1
and beautifully lustrous.”
