C., did damage es- : tlmated at $1,000,000. when the plant of the Interstate Cooperage Company was. destroyed. It is said that the cooperage . plant will be rebuilt. There was no I insurance. The plant of the .John L. Roper Lumber Company was saved after hard work by volunteer fire t$ lit ers. The greatest loss to the cooperage 1 company was in lumber, 2.500.n0n feet , being destroyed.
