A mirrored surface, simulating the sea and extending about eight feet across the table, was bordered with a bank of green moss, and on its sur face rode miniature -• agoing craft. May 31. A new world’s record has been estab lished for milk and butter production by Banostlne Belle de Koi, a Holsteln- Eriesan cow. In one year she pro duced 27.404 4 pounds of milk testing 3.S*H per cent nf fat. This means more than 36 quarts of milk a day, and 1,- 322,929 pounds of butter, more than 3 1-2 pounds a day.
