The gasoline and carbolic acid poured together and stirred thor ■gughly Keep away from fire The Ffeixture is then poured over the lime ‘ and thoroughly paddled. After stand ing for a day or two. the gasoline wdll have evaporated and a fine powder, with a strong carbolic add odor Is the result Use in sifter-tor cans. The fowls should be dusted with thia pow der at least three times, allowing in tervals of a week between dustings. The first dusting, 1f thoroughly done, will kill most of the lice, but tn five or •lx days a new crop will hatch out from the eggs on the fowls Usually three dustings will rid the fowls of the peats—T.
