The purpose of the meeting is to de
vise jiians for obtaining 100 new mem
bers for the Board of Trade. The board
already consists of about 180 members,
but many of the most enterprising citi
zens of the town have never nssociated
themselves with the bond.
G. S. Candler, the special assistant
secretary of the board, who is now giv
ing his entire time to this work, to
gether with the chairman of the com
mittee. is preparing for a whirlwind
campaign to last about two days. These
plans Will be laid before the committee
at the meeting Friday night.

Arab Patrol Makes Debut.
The feature of the reunion celebra
tion was the fit st public appearance of
th" new Arab patrol. It is the first
Arab patrol that Yaarab Temple has
had and will in the future be in evi
dehce nt all Masonic gatherings to
boost Atlanta. The patrol paraded
Peachtree and Whitehall streets, head
ed by the Wedemeyer band, yester
day afternoon, and then iVerit to Ponce
DeLeon park.
When the costumes of flashy oriental I
color schemes were seen upon the base
ball diamond, a shout went up from the |
stands. This applause lasted for some
moments, as the patrol cut different fig- |
ures In Its drills. The saber drill was |
well executed. and brought hearty |
cheers from the noble fans who w ere I
seated In the north end of th" stand. I
