FREE TREATMENT OF “TRY NEW LIFE” BRINGS GREAT CROWDS SKILLED OPERATORS SHOW HOW TO USE WONDERFUL INSTRUMENT THAT RE STORES' TIRED NERVES Headache, Rheumatism, Constipation Give Way to Restful E?.se When Cir culation Is Stimulated. Hamilton Beach Company Has Offices Where It Demonstrates Machines to Large Crowds at Once Literally Hundreds Throng the Rooms All Day, and Are Delighted With Results of Free Trial Treatment. The large offices of the Hamilton-Beach Company at 7 Walton street Were crowded all day Monday and Tuesday by sufferers who were given free treatments of “Try New-Life,” the marvelous treatment for all the human dis orders that come from faulty circulation. The incoming scores were met at the door by other scores who had been treated and were going away, and it was interesting to hear the remarks they passed, “Come on in and get yours: it’s great,” a departing one would say. "I’ve just had a treatment, and it’s the finest thing I’ve found yet.” The treated one would go his way smiling, and the prospective patient would enter with enthusiasm to get relief from whatever ailment happened to be troubling him. “Look how straight I can walk.” said one old man as he marched through the door. “I came in here all doubled up. Try New-Life’ certainly does the work.” The Hamilton-Beach Company has put a small army of demonstrators— both man and women—to work to show the suffering public just what “Try Now-Life" will do. Women operators in one room are working with women pa tients, and men operators in another room are working with men patients, and since the office opened May 27 it has been thronged. A CAN TREAT THEM ALL. Elaborate preparations have been made for the comfort of the patrons who on the opening day thronged the offices. There are chairs and sofas and everywhere deft-fingered operators are all day long applying the machines .and showing how they work. The “Try- New-Life” apparatus is there. The op erators know their business, so that a thoroughly organized establishment seems transferred all at once, by some magic, into new surroundings. 'The management can now treat them all. Now. what will "Try-New-Life” do? For one thing, it will give instant re lief Tn rheuriiatism. No matter whether it is inflammatory, sciatica, stiffened joints or merely sore muscles, the mo ment the vibrations begin to thrill : through the suffering nerves and lax' ? blood" vissdls-there comes a comforting sense of warmth, the thrill of newly stimulated nerves and a healthy glow of the tissues that makes the sufferer most i grateful. If you have rheumatism, take l one of the free treatments and be con • vinced. LUMBAGO SPEEDILY RELIEVED Lumbago, merely another form of rheumatism which attacks the muscles of the back, is quickly relieved. When the tingling of the vibrations is felt, the heavy, steady, down-pulling ache of the loins is relieved and in a few minutes the sufferer is smiling. Perhaps the most painful disease known is sciatica, a form of rheuma tism which attacks the sciatic nerve of the thigh. Anything that will relieve the pain can work wonders. “Try-New- Life” if you are troubled with sciatica. Take a free treatment and see for your self. Indigestion and constipation, the twin evils of the digestive tract, are quickly responsive to the treatment of “Try- New-Life.” The moment the flow of blood is stimulated by the little ma chine the gastric juices begin to work naturally and the pangs of indigestion are overcome by nature’s own forces, without poisonous drugs or dieting. In t he same manner the muscles of the ab domen are stimulated to new life, and •by their prompt action the work of eliminating waste matter is taken up and constipation is overcome—consti pation. one of humanity’s worst ene mies. For whenever waste matter is left in the system the delicate blood vessels lining the lower bowel absorb the poisons that ought to be east out. and sends them back through the blood to all parts of the body. The most delicate organs are fed poison instead of pure blood for their upbuilding, and all manner of disturbances follow. .••••••••••••••••••••••••a • CHOICE AGENCIES • • ARE NOT ALL GONE • • There are still a few choice Io- • • cations for agencies to handle the • • magical little 'Try-New-Life” ma- • • chine in the states of Mississippi. • • Alabama, Georgia and Florida. • • They would all have been gone • • by now. but the , management is • • exercising the greatest care in • • choosing only reliable agents who • • have standing in the community. • • and who have the energy to put • • the ■■Try-New-Life" machine be- • • fore the people. • • Those who till these require- • • ments are invited to write to the • • president of the Hamilton-Beach • • Sales Company. 7 Walton street • • Atlanta. READ WHAT WE HAVE DONE FOR ONE OF ATLANTA’S CITIZENS: Hamilton-Beach Sales Co., ATLANTA; GA.. May 31, 1912. 7 Walton Street. Atlanta, Ga. Gentlemen : On Oct. 16th, 1911, while crankin? an automobile, I had the misfortune to sustain a compound fracture of my right arm just above the wrist, arteries and tendons being severed and about two inches of radius (small bone) being removed, which rendered my hand useless. In February. I underwent an operation, having a bone taken from my left tibia (shin bone) and grafted into my arm. connecting up the space left vacant by the removal of bone. The operation was successful, but the. muscles of my hand and arm had become very stiff and contracted from lack of use and exercise. 1 had my arm treated a number of weeks with hand massage, which was very beneficial, but a slow process. I saw your advertisement of “Try-New-Life” and decided to take advan tage of your offer of free demonstration. After three treatments I was able to close my hand enough to touch the third and fourth fingers with my thumb, which I had never done since accident. After four short treatments I noticed marked improvement in circulation and flexi bility of muscles of entire arm. 1 consider the results obtained from the use of your machine in this short lime truly re markable. and firmly believe the continued use of the machine will restore my arm to its former strength and usefulness’. Thanking you for the courtesies extended. I remain, Yours very truly, (Signed) 11. T. In either case, with batteries or with current, the patient chooses the appli cator best suited to bis ailment, whether headache. backache, rheumatism. or whatever it may be. He turns on the current, draws the applicator over his throbbing temples, his weak back, or his rheumatic joint, and he feels instantly the thrill and glow of healthy circulation and soothed nerves. It can not harm him, it can not but do him good, it Is easy, simple, and in a few minutes the best way of operating the machine is taught each patient who calls even for a free trial treatment. ■How shall 1 use 'Try-New-Life.?' " is naturally the first question a sufferer asks when the little machine is shown. Not only will the operator explain evr erything. but there are printed directions that go with each machine, and besides that, eacli individual is 'encouraged to use his own judgment for harm can not possibly be done. In the first place, with each machine goes six applicators, ranging from the softest rubber to very hard, firm rubber. Each has its own special use. and can be employed in certain cases better than any other. No. 1 is a bard rubber applicator, disc- i shaped and is used for mtiri’lhV work up ; and down the spine. No. 3 Is very soft, shap'd like a bell, and forms a vacuum when in use. If is A Child Can Learn to Use “Try=New=Life” in an Hour “TRY-NEW-LIFE” MACHINES on Exhibition at J. M. It is very yield ing rubber, almost like a damp sponge, and its effect on the face and neck is most comforting. No. 4 is the hardest of all. and is em ployed when it is desired to reach deep set muscular affections, and along the tough muscles of the spine and legs. It can be made very effective when strong pressure is given and full power of the machine is turned on. No. 5 is of soft rubber, and has very soft prongs for treatment, of the scalp. It is especially meant for massage in case of falling hair, and is also used for the hands and feet, particularly in treating lingers and toes stiffened by rheumatism. His entire left side was practically dead, for he eould not move It Everybody thought that he was a hopeless paralytic, and that the remalndet of his life would be spent in bed. But Sandow rubbed aVtd massaged his helpless arm with his right hand, and finally brought back to it a slight power of motion. This gave him great hope that he might eventually redeem his whole body, and he went to work vigorously and rubbed and massaged his whole left side with his good hand, and finally got so that he could move both arm and leg. The next move was to sit up in bed and move both arm and leg as much as he eould and massage them continually. Then he was soon able to leave his bed and walk about and use his arm, too. By constant effort he restored himself to his former health, and, by keeping up the exercise and by stimulating the cir culation with constant massage, he be came famous all around the world as a man of Herculean strength. All the athletic world knows the man who, at the Madison Square Physical Culture show in New York city in 1903, won the prize of SI,OOO for the most perfectly built body among all the ath letes gathered there. But very few know that this same man, now Profes sor Weinberg, the Gymnastic Instructor at the Battle Creek, Mich., Sanitarium, was at the age of 20 given up to die of consumption. THE SECRET IN CIRCULATION. He did not give up. He experiment ed and found that by massage he could stimulate his circulation, and he real ized that on the free and full flow of pure blood through his veins depended his life. So. with constant practice, he built up a strong, robust body from the puny frame of skin and bones that the doctors had consigned to an early grave. In both these cases it was the health ful stimulation of the blood vessels and the constant kneariing and massaging of the muscles which brought health in stead of disease and death. If either Sandow or Professor Weinberg had known of "Try-New-Life” he could have accomplished the same results in far less time and with far greater ease and enjoyment. For the application of “Try-New-Life” is a.pleasure and in no sense a. task. • DEMONSTRATION AT HOME. • • • • "Try-New-Llfe” machines are • • on sale not only at the offices of • • tlie Hamilton-Beach Company, at • • 7 Walton street, but at the big de- • • partment store of J. I Deafness is one of the most stubborn . eases to treat because It requires eight , or ten treatments before you notice re sults. However, one single treatment will stop the noise or ringing in th« ear. A remarkable difference can be noticed after the eighth treatment. For deafness use soft sponge Appli cator No. 3 entirely; apply to both ears at least four or five times a day; a. flve-minute treatment to each ear is much better than a fifteen-minute treatment. We advise short treatments and often. You can also apply Appli cator No. 1 up and down the spine • and around the neck, thoroughly treat ing all the cords in the neck, also thoroughly treating the back of the ear —not the ear itself, but right back of the ear on the head. In a great many instances results have been accom plished in three or four treatments.
