TO CONVINCE
MORE PHYSICIANS
On Saturday, May 4, 1912. an invitation
I was extended to the physTbians of San
I Francisco through the evening Bulletin
land Evening Post to check up the results
in a case of 1 >iabetes alleged to be incur
able by the books.
I Four years ago one of the best San
. Francisco hospitals failed in the case.
| When the patient got so weak he could
' hardly walk they told him dieting was all
| that could be done. He took Fulton's
I Diabetic Compound and recovered and
I has been actively in business ever since.
I Recently the symptoms returned. His
| physician reported sugar and that the
Diabetes was on him again. We told him
we had known it to be controlled the sec
ond time. He started again on the Dia-
I bet io Compound. In order that doubters
' might b< c onvinced we made arrange
ments for physicians who believe Dia
betes incurable to have and gave
them his address and invited them
through the Bulletin and Pbst to mak<
their own tests week by week, so that
they could see the sugar disappear.
What does this mean if results can not
he had in those cases? It is cruel to holo
patients to failure on Codein (containing
opium which locks up secretions) when
I recoveries are being had by the use of a
! mild infusion (without sedatives), the
| motive of which is to help the liver oxi
dize the sugars and starches. (Recover
ies an rare in young people, but in pa
tients past middle life we look for good
results as a general rule.)

QUICK WORKERS
HAVE EFFICIENCY
Rapid Method of Ready Reference In
creases Workers' Efficiency
Everywhere.
Tiie mails are being kept busy bring
ing in orders and taking books away,
and any person who happens to be
skeptical of the popularity of the sim
plest and yet most complete work of
the kind ever offered lias but to take
a look at our Atlas counter at any time
of the day.
"Here they come" and “theie they go’’
is the rapid-fire efficiency with which
our clerks are handing out the ready
reference set.
What is the secret of that efficiency
which keeps a long endless chain of
customers instantly supplied with what
they want?
Primarily It is the saving of time:
secondarily it is the means by which
"that time is saved, siiecifieally speaking',
tiie system by which everything need
ed is found Instantly at hand.
Time saving is tiie first and foremost
element of efficiency.
Simple, isn't it?
Any child knows that.
t'ertainly. but why is it an acknowl
edged fact that great corporations and
the United States government are los
ing millions of dollars every year
merelv through overlooking this simple
detail,?
Wily is it that "efficiency engineers"
are earning fat fees instituting- tiie time
saving principles wherever they are re
tained ?
You don't know and you don't care.’
Certainly not.
But you do care about ,tlie efficiency
I of your own service which affects your
' earning power.
The Georgian offers you today til
greatest time saver and aid to effi
ciency ever created, which is tiie Stand

of the World.
