Exhibits of Atlanta-made goods arc
the features of the convention of the
Southern Association of Oil Mill Su
perintendents, which is being held In
Taft hall at the Auditorium-Armory
today and tomorrow. For the first time
since the oil mill men have been hold
ing convention dealers are showing
their wares at the meeting hall. Num
bers of Northern and Eastern firms are
represented, but, according to the del
egates to the convention, the Atlanta
firms have struck the keynote with
their display, headed "Atlanta-made.”
The various problems mill superin
tendents have to contend with were
taken up today In interesting papers
m ad by members who have had the ex
perience. "Firing Furnaces and Get
ting Efficiency’ From Fuel" was the
subject of JI. H. McNaughton’s ad
dress. "Applied Chemistry in Jill Mill
Practice," J. S. Brogdon’s talk,’was an
Interesting feature of the morning,
others who spoke were: R. M. Fluker,
on "General Care of an Oil Mill In the
Dormant Season,” and J. W. Moore and
J. F. Rhodes, on “Lintlng of Cotton
Seed."
Tonight the delegates will be" the
guests of the oil Mill Superintendents
auxiliary at a theater party at the For
syth. A smoker and buffet supper at
the M. A- M. club entertained them last
night.

Conditions of the Contest
The Atlanta Georgian Proverb Contest is a contest nt
skill and judgment.
Prizes to the amount of $16,000 will be given absolutely
free by The Atlanta Georgian to the winners Every one
Is eligible to enter this contest, whether living In Atlanta or
out of town.
Each set of answers must contain only one answer to
each picture, but each person Is entitled to send In three
complete sets of answers.
The answers to the puzzle pictures may be sent In writ
tng In long hand either with pen or pencil; they mav he
written on tjie typewriter or may be printed In any manner
to suit the fancy of the contestant. manner
Participation In any other contest now being run or
which may be run by The Georgian will not debar anv one

will be allowed to submit one. two or three sets of answer/

Each set will be considered separately, but not more than

ed in the coupon published In The Atlanta Georgian or on a
page of some form of book by Itself, accompanied either bv
the puzzle picture printed in The Georgian or a pen or pen II
copy thereof, and must have the name and address of the
contestant.
Do not send In your solutions In “list” form. That l»

been carefully compiled by The Atlanta Georgian, and print
ed In a neat book for handy reference.
