try Doctor the other day:
"Please tell me what is killing
my Runner ducklings. They sit
down and look dull and sleepy, and

heads backward."
Then followed a description of the
feed given the ducklings. It was all
right, and could hardly have been re
sponsible for the trouble. The writer
was advised that in all likelihood the
ducklings wore infested with head lice.
Ducklings hatched bv hens or run
ning with hens should always he treat
ed for head lice just as little chickens.
