JUST A LITTLE CALOMEL TODAY MEANS MORE NEXT MONTH Because Calomel Never Cures. It Simply Shocks the System Into Temporary Action, But Weakens the Organs. Calomel is a powerful mercurial drug. Jt has the power to crash into the sour bile on the stomaoh, work it up and throw it off. The shock and the work ing up of the bile forces the liver and bowels to action, but with this forcible movement, and the vomiting and the awful nausea, the whole system is weakdhed, the bowels paralyzed, and a dose of castor oil or strong salts must be taken to relax the muscles. And remember: only the sour bile has been removed from the stomach. What caused the bile and the constipa tion has not been corrected, and in a few weeks you need a stronger dose. fBOe.SusT \ UNIVERSITY \loi//d dohn D Rocfeefe/ierhave been the richestman in the Wor/dif he had Spent the first money he earnedP 7 He put it in the Bank The regular semi-annual interest on de posits in our SAVINGS DEPARTMENT has been credited. Jacobs’ Liver Salt acts upon the liver as surely as calomel, but by stimula tion, not force, and it removes the cause of the trouble. It immediately dis solves the uric acid poison that has de posited in the system and carries it oft in the urine, it combines easily with the chemical juices of the stomach and flushes the whole intestinal canal and cleanses it of all impurities. And it increases the deficient supply of sul phates. w hat Nature uses to digest food and to prevent the deposit of uric acid. We consider. Jacobs’ Liver Salt the best remedy that has yet been offered for a sluggish liver, biliousness, consti pation, sour stomach, rheumatism, neu ralgia, and 'all other ailments of an he patic nature. It is effervescent and agreeable, quick to act, mild anti sure, with a wonderfully stimulating effect upon ‘the liver. Try It. 1-2 fb jar 25c (16c additional by mail).
