10 Voters of Georgia, Read and Reread Announcement The Texas Life Companies with over fifty thousand stockholders and policy holders, mostly citizens of Texas, with assets of more than ten and a half million dollars, with insurance in force December 31, 1911, of over one hundred and sixteen million dollars, the premiums on which exceed three and a half million dollars annually, are writing new business at the rate of about fifty million dollars per annum (over forty eight million dollars during 1911). These companies operate under the provisions of the insurance laws of Texas, which require legal reserves to be maintained for the protection of policyholders. They are sound and solvent institutions, offering safe indemnity under policies of insurance as attractive and liberal in their provisions as can be obtained anywhere. Every dollar paid for insurance to Texas companies by the people of the state remains here for the conservation and development of the resources of the state. The investments in Texas by Life Insurance Companies today exceed what they were when the Robertson Law was enacted in 1907 by more than twenty-five million dollars.
