THREAT ON LIFE OF
WORTHLESS SPOUSE
LAFAYETTE. IND, Aug. 29. —When
Hatt Sewell. 40. returned to his home
In West Lafayette today after several
days’ absence, his wife fired two shots
into his abdomen, fatally wounding
him. Mrs. Sewell had threatened to
kill him when he returned.
Sewell formerly was a wealthy Boone
county land owner, but had dissipated
his fortune.
