dubs in the city is to be begun by the
police coimnitHe of coimcil.
As man* of the clubs are now operat
ing contrar* to the council’s desire, it
is expected tl.at some of them will i»e
closed.
Tlie new ordinance provides that « very

cent session of the general assembly,
after the courts had decreed that the
