PRICE OF BOOKS
WILL SOON BE RAISED
Georgian’s Great Offer Will
Be Withdrawn in a Few
Days, So Don’t Delay.
Delays are dangerous, and as busi
ness demands the withdrawal of The
Georgian’s Atlas, vou have no time to
lose in clipping the headings. Even for
the sake of further educating the pub
lic. the present distribution can not be
continued. In a few days The Geor
gian's proposition of supplying the big
little bundles of ready reference in
formation, bound in silk-finished cloth,
will be abandoned, and the book that is
worth twice as much will be placed
upon the shelves of the book stores,
the presentation will end, and the sale
at $1.50 a volume will be started.
You will have to hurry.
In an effort to bar ignorance and in- I
competence in order to raise the stand
ard of their profession, stenographers of
Atlanta are giving the educational!
campaign their unusual support.
The reason for the low average of'
wages paid the toilers at the typewrit
ers lias been given by employers as a
lamentable lack of knowledge of every
day things, p’aces and events, on the
part of the employed.
The plan which The Georgian has
suggested and the stenographers are
eagerly indorsing is that each operator
who is anxious to better his or her
condition obtain the best and handiest
work of reference ever compiled—the
Standard Atlas and Chronological His
tory of the World.
Practical experience has proved that
by using the work as an error elimina
tor perfect copy can be produced and
the argument of the employer that the
employee is not worth more than the
low salary paid successfully refuted.
The demand of stenographers for At
lases is growing hourly, and the result j
is sure to be more money and better
work.
