Answer I receive daily hundreds of
from people who have suffered as
von do and who have been cured with
li,e following prescription: Make a wash
t>\ mixing one-half teaspoonful of Vilane
■ w if!, which you can purchase from any
druggist in 2 ounce packages, and add to
tl is one pint of warm water; use this in
the nostrils daily to thoroughly cleanse
them A catarrh balm should be used
with this. This is made by mixing one
mi'oonful of Vilane powder with one
ounce of lard or vaseline and applying
well up into the nostrils twice a day. If
•his is used daily your catarrh will soon
vanish. It should, however, be used oc
ra.- i'nally to prevent a return of the dis
ease.

“Mildred" writes: "I am constantly
embarrassed because of the fact of my
extreme thinness. 1 have .absolutely no
color in my face or lips and I am dull
and lifeless most of the time. Please ad

Answer: If you are so thin and pale
and your lips and cheeks colorless, ft is
bf-cause vur blood is deficient in red cor
puscles. This can be easily overcome by
th, use of 3-grain hypo-nuclane tablets,
which, can be had from any druggist in
sealed cartons with full directions for tak
ing. When the blood is enriched by the
use cf these tablets your weight will in
crease, the color will come back into your
face and lips, and it will improve your
general system so that you will become
strong and healthy.

but surely drives it from the system. The
following regularly used will cure any
curable cough or cold promptly. Obtain
a 2% ounce bottle of essence of mentho
laxene, mix it with a home-made sugar
syrup or honey as per directions on bottle.

man sold three pairs of them before the bill was checked
off yesterday. We have a Growing Girls’ Black or Tan
Button Boot in this lot that many grown-ups are buying,
at $3.50. It is just one dollar less than the women’s style
would be and has exactly the same height heel. Ask to see
No. 522 black or No. 542 tan. for these.
Wo have never enjoyed such heavy sales so early on
high shoes as we have this season, and this is as it should
be. especially in the case of children and growing girls’
shoes.
On these cool crisp mornings jt is not safe to let children
sit inactive as they are in school rooms with low shoes or
thin sole slippers on. Many children and adults, too,
catch a cold on the threshold of winter that can not be shaken off for months, that
might be avoided if warm high shoes were worn instead of low ones. There is cer
tainly as much reason for discarding low shoes on September 15 as straw hats, yet
here it is October 3. and lots of children art* running around in low shoes.
Come to see our Children’s Shoe Department, the guaranteed satisfaction offer
is still open—a new pair for everv pair that doesnot suit vou.
