LIMOUSINE AMBULANCE HORSE AMBULANCE
I he above cuts illustrate the completeness of the ambulance service of 11. M. Patterson & Son, located at 96 North Forsyth
Street, adjoining the Carnegie library. 1 hey were the first firm to place an automobile ambulance in the city, and this has
proyed so popular that they now add a Limousine ambulance. A great many people who are injured or ill and are able to
recline m a sitting posture need the services of a vehicle for being transferred, but abhor the sight of an ambulance. For these
people, the Limousine is the ideal vehicle. 1 his vehicle, like the ambulance, can be had at all hours and is in charge of a com
petent driver, and is fitted with all conveniences, ihe price for the use of same is based on taxicab rates.
-ADAM AND EVE FIRST
AT POLE. SAYS DR. COOK
KANSAS <'ITV. Oil. '■.—Adam and
I Eve were the first p t sons to discover
1 the north pole, according to Dr. Ered
kA. Cook, : explorer, n peak
| ing before the Business Women's league
• I am now convinced that the garden
lof Ed«n was at th® north "pole,” said.
Dr. Cook. "Though 1 found no traces!
of apple trees and serpents there, 1
did find coal beds 500 miles from the
pole In which fossilized pond lilies were
imbedded. This shows that tropical
plant life thrived there once, and that
it was the first seat of civilization. I
believe the Eskimos are the oldest race
of the earth. Adam and Eve were Es
kimos."
