The Standard of Perfection
There is an erroneous report abroad in the land in regard to The Stand*
ard of Perfection that should be corrected. At the Nashville meeting of the
American Poultry association it determined to publish in 1915 a separ
ate standard for each breed. This report has it that these standards will be
issued at once. The last Standard is by far the b®st ever issued, and it will
be in effect until 1915.—Uncle Dudley, in The Atlanta Constitution.
As I ncle Dudley has evidently been wrongly informed, we de
sire to set Ihe matter right before the public. At the last meeting of
lhe American Poultry association, held in Nashville, August 12 to
!•>. it was voted to issue .’>.ooo copies of the Breed Standard for
Plymouth Rocks, which will contain standards for the Rock varie
ties. This separate Standard will he issued simultaneously with the
regular Standard for all breeds in 1915. No other separate Breed
Standards have been authorized as yet. and probably will not be
until after that date. ‘ F. J. MARSHALL.

This association is composed of the
