Many delegates were present. Last night the two local lodges had a joint session, when the district conven tion was organized and held. Ad dresses were delivered by Grand Chan cellor James W. STUDENTS NOW DECIDE TO HAZE ONLY‘SMART ALECKS' SWARTHMORE, PA., Nov. 22.—1 n the future, at Strathmore college, only "fresh” freshmen will be hazed. Tills was de rided at a meeting of the student gov ernment commission. General hazing will no longer be in dulged. In the past, every freshman un derwent certain penalties, whether he needed It or not. Now only those fresh men violating the "rules” will be taken in hand by the upper classmen.
