OUR BOYS’ SHOP & I
AT Jk '
CHRISTMAS TIME M®
Christmas is the greatest time of the year
for children. Wonderful questions are asked and some
of them answered. When the small one asks for a jLi
wagon and the bigone a bicycle, wouldn’t joy reign
should both carry a comfortable sweater, cap, and leggins to make
the winter outing possible?
That’s simply suggestion number one. A visit to our Boys’
Shop on the second floor will give you many more---maybe better
ones—and for girls, too. Splendid winter Coats, pretty reefers and
play Suits of all sorts. • ,

Dedicated to the Cause of
Good Shoes at Little Prices
The New Lower Floor Department
Is Now Ready
Let ns tell yon the purpose of this new Lower Floor Department ’
and what it means to those who want good shoes at little prices.
It marks the crystallization of a long cherished plan, of an ambition
to give to the people of Atlanta a department shoe store —wherein they
might get the right kind of shoes at every price, even to the least ex
pensive.
Lack of space forhid this until we did all that remodeling this sum
mer and fall.
Rtif now we have the whole spacious lower floor reached by easy steps from our first
floor—fixed up in becoming fashion and given over to the cause of good shoes al little
prices.
There is nothing pretentious or showy, either in the arrangements
or the fixtures. Everything is plain, substantial, here for a purpose.
The merit of the department lies in its economic value to the buyers
of shoes —nothing has been spared to raise that to the highest possible
, point.
We have brought all our shoe knowledge and experience, all the in
fluence and*jx>wer of our long connection with the most reputable mak
ers of shoes in America, to the selection of the stocks for this depart
ment.
The result is shot's of style ami quality; of surprising style ami sur
. prising quality.
For Men at $2.00 to $3.00
For Women at $1.50 to $3.00
For Boys at $1.50 to $2.50
For Children at 75c,upward
Not one pair among the hundreds is here simplv because the price
was low.
I hey had to show style and they had to bp of good leathers and
they had to bp well made—then we arranged with makers to get prices
to the lowest mark.
So true is this that we do not hesitate to say that these shoes are
the best these prices can buy!
Ami there are courteous, capable and painstaking salesmen 1o fit
. you properly.
So nov. wj open the nev Lower Floor Department of good shoes at
little prices.
