Two boys had a quairU about ten days ago. Yesterday Harrison went to the school house anW called Honea out. After a few Words. - he cut Honea's throat. Honea was about seventeen years of age. Harrison is about nine teen years old. Sentiment seems to be against Har rison, as many think thq homicide was premeditated and without justification Harrison was arrested and lodged tn jail here. He re ceived 125 and bis opponent two votes. It is said that Hase two later apolo gized to Judge McKelvey, and prom ised to vote for him’ next time. In the last four years. Dee. 9.—After being out 2S hours the jury in tile c ise of A. S. Hamilton, charged with em bezzling the funds, of Trion Manufac turing Company, brought in a verdict pf guilty of a misdemeanor. Judge Price Edwards postponed sentence, as counsel for the defense immediately moved for a new trial. This ease con tinued all last week and excited much interest.
