The dinner party at which Colonel Ragan will entertain tomorrow in honor of Sir Thomas will assemble 20 guests. , The dinner will be given at Colonel ’ Ragan's home on Peachtree street, and the guests will Include Mrs. Albert E. Marion Smith, Henry Newman, Walter T. Col quitt, W. F. Newman, Janies Ragan and Ralph Ragan. On Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Grant give a buffet supper, in honor of Sir Thomas Lipton. Holiday Tea. A wealth of red berried holly formed the decorations at the home of Mrs. A. S W. Falklnburg in West End yesterday afternoon, when Mrs Falklnburg ami I Mrs. Joseph Lucius Singer entertained ; at tea. Christmas bells and wreaths i added to the decorations and the tea table had for a centerpiece a cut glass B Vase of red rosea, with all minor details : in red and green Mrs. Leon Singer, Mrs, DuPont Mc- . Phafl and Mrs. Furlong presided over the tea table. Little Margaret Thorn | ten, who received the cards of the call ers, wore white lingerie with red rib | bons. Pretty toilets were worn by the hostesses and members of the receiving party, who were Mesdames Thomas la C. P. Stough, Jerome Jones and H. E. Holbrook, and Misses Louise Johnson, Ethleen Stewart, Louise Loomis and Ruth Cox. For Miss Spalding. Sixteen young girls were guests of Miss Elizabeth Spalding, the young t daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Spald ing, at a bridge party this afternoon. ' The party was given at the Piedmont 1 Driving club and the tables were placed | in the New York room. The score F cards were hand painted 1n girls’ heads, and the prizes included a dainty bou doir cap for top score, and a picture for I second prize. A souvenir for each guest there was a French nosegay. Dainty refreshments were served on the card tables at the close of the game. Miss Spalding’s aunt.
