t , BUILDERS OF A TLANTA A. P. Coles to Speak To Real Estate Men Banquet of Board at Cafe Durand. To Discuss Appraisal ®Un. An unusually large number of real ty dealers *vtll meet to-night at 6:30 o clock at the Cafe Durand to attend a monthly dinner of the Atlanta Real Estate Board and to hear a talk by A. p Coles, vice ye»idcnt of the Cen tral Bank and Trust Corporation. Mr. Coles has written no speech. He always speaks extemporaneously and he always has something good to say. His subject will be "Real Estate arid the Banker.” The attendance at the last montnlj dinner was considerably larger than the previous month. The appraisal committee of the board, comprising J. H. Ewing, chair man; W. A. Foster, S. B. Turman and M. F. Ramsey, will present a .‘■•chedule of rates for the appraisal of property held by individuals. The committee will recomemnd as a fee for this serv ice $1 a thousand on property valued up to $115,000, with a minimum fee of $5.50 a thousand on the excess of $5; 50 cents a thousand on the excess of $25,000 to $100,000, and 25 cents a The fee for the appraisal of property worth $4 500 would thus be $5; the fee on $15,500, $15.50, and on $125,000 $68.75. This table is expected to be adopted by the board. Small Sales Made. Six lots of the Reynolds Realty Cor poration’s subdivision at East Lake have been sold by the Ralph O. Coch ran Company to Ike Morris for an aggregate of $1,200. Air. Reynolds has sold two others. The last one left has been reserved. The Cochran Com pany sold also for Mrs. Agnes Turner two small houses at $ and 10 George Street, for $800. The name of the purchaser was withheld. Daily Report Figures. The Fulton County Daily Report has made an interesting compilation of figures for the fifteenth week in 1013. and comparer them with the same period in 1912. There were this . ear 249 realty transfers, involving $742,279.73: 88 mortgages and loan deeds, $180,988.98; 175 personalties. $29,058.85; 17 mortgages canceled $86,814.34; 64 building permits, $97,- 249. In 1912 there were 246 realty trans fers, at $1,074,011.46' 63 mortgages and loan deeds. $101,766.40; 165 per sonalties, $12,865.42; cancellations, $62,553. and 118 building permits. $202,170.
