DANNY MAHER CAPTURES
FOUR OUT OF SIX RACES

LONDON, Aprit 18. -The Ameri
can Jockey. Dannv Maher, despite h1s
increasing weight, performed a re
markable trick at the Newmarket
Race Course yesterday by winning
four out of six races
Three of the races, including the
l rincipal event of the day. the Craven
Stakes, in which Maher rode Lord
Rosebery’s Sanqhar to victory, were
won in succession.
Besides capturing the Craven
Stakes. Maher won the 3-year-old
handicap plate with Brand, took a
selling plate race with Highland
Fowl and also led the field to the
tape with Lord Rosebery.

Tiger football team will come under
the tutelage next fall of Walter Gres
ham Andrews of Wilmington, N. C.,
who have been appointed to the posi
tion of fl*ld coaches at Princeton. The
new directors take the places of Lo
gan Cunningham and T. J. Wilson.
The field coaches at Princeton have
intimate charge, together with Train
er Keene Fitzpatrick of the detail*
