Steel Frame Arrives
For Healey Building
Seventeen Cars on Hand—Many
People Seek Homes—Lot Sold
in Brookhaven Section.
Five more carloads of steel arrived
in the city yesterday for the frame
work of the Healey office building
opposite the Postoffice. This makes
h total of 17 carloads, 12 cars hav
ing arrived previously. The amount
on hand, declared Mr. Healey, would
he sufficient to fit out the basement
only, which is a large undertaking in
itself. Other cars will come in from
time to time.
At 9 o’clock Saturday night the
foundation workers virtually finished
their task and this week there has
been little for them to do. Delay
in starting the steel work has been
due to the fact that two huge der-
rirks have not yet arrived. These
,. 1*1 * « xpected on any train and then
the steel work will begin.
Mr. Healey was busy looking over
job this morning, and he ex-
r •■< •(! the hope that operations
mu Id soon bo resumed.
