The order contemplates an im proved service between Cartersville and Etowah, but as Etowah is over the State line in Tennessee, the Geor gia commission had no jurisdiction beyond Cisco. When the Southern Bell Company purchased an old line in Columbus (several years ago, the City Council was willing t?> grant it the privilege of raising its rates when it had made ! certain improvement s und increased its subscribers to 2,500 A now Coun cil. however, opposed the agreement.
