of Rolf and baseball. A promise was exacted from members that hereafter enough members will he present in the Senate to main

Mayor Pafford Declares Georgia
Laws Give Residents Right to
Angle in Banks Pond.
Citizens of Milltown, Ga , deny that
the town is In a state of excitement
and that it will be necessary to e* 1
out troops to preserve order. Mayor
William F. Pafford has issued a state
ment declaring (Tame Warden Bols-
elair became unduly alarmed.
Governor Brown has not considered
“ending troops to Berrien County. It
is hardly likely he will.
Until the Legislature changes th>

fishpond so long as they have per
mission from owners of the land on
which the body of water is located,
according to Mayor Pafford.
“Section 7 of the game law privi
leges a person to fish with permission
from the owner of the land, which
the Jo persons arrested had,” he de
clared.
"The statement of State Game and
Fish Commissioner Mercer that hla
wardens have been intimidated an i
that the local authorities are too much
in sympathy with the lawless ele
ment to give any assistance is un
true.” said Pafford.
Bolaclair made 2rt arrests of per
sons. He charges he was prevented
from pioseouting the cases because
the justices of the peace declared he
would not convict any of the parties.
Tlie whole matter hinges on a land
dispute. The Banks estate claims to
own all of the property on which the
pond is located. Other property own
ers say a title to all of the property
has never been vested with Banks.

Effective Home Remedy
For Lung Trouble
It is a serious matter when the
lungs are affected. A trip away or
to a sanatorium is not only exj»en-
sive, but'it involves separation from
i/iome and friends. Some are bene
fited. but few can safely return.
Eckman’s Alterative is effective for
home treatment. For example:
231 S. Atlantic Ave., Haddonfield,
N. J.
"Gentlemen: In the fall of 1905 I
contracted a very severe cold, which
settled on my lungs. At last 1 began
to raise sputum, and my physician
then told me I must go to California
immediately. At this time T was ad
vised to take Eckman’s Alterative. I
stayed at home and commenced tak
ing It the last week in October. I
beg^n to Improve, and the first, week
in January, 1906, I resumed my regu
lar occupation, having gained 25
pounds, fully restored to health. It is
now seven years since my recovery
has been effected, and I can not
f iraise Eckman’s Alterative too high-
y. I have recommended it with ex
cellent results.’’

S The use of Sage and Sulphur for
7 restoring faded, gray hair to lt«

mother’s time. She kept her hair
beautifully darkened, glossy an
abundant with a brew of Sage Tea
and Sulphur. Whenever her hair
fell out or took on that dull, faded
or streaked appearance this simple
mixture wns applied with wonderful
effect.
But brewing at home is mu say

splendid for dandruff, dry, feverish,
itchy scalp and falling hair.
A well-known downtown druggist
says his customers insist on Wy
eth's Sage and Sufphur because,
they say. it darkens so naturally
and evenly that nobody can tell it
has been applied—it’» so easy to
use, too. You simply dampen i

through your hair, taking one

and by morning the gray hair dis
