was one of th? most inspiring: sights

One of the most interesting: fea

Alfonso was to have sat while the
troops were reviewed. The chair in
which the King was to have sat was
of bronze.
An Astonished Ministry.

Effective Home Remedy
For Lung Trouble
It is a serious matter when the
lungs are affected. A trip away ot
to a sanatorium is not only expen
sive, but it involves separation from
home and friends. Some are bene
fited. but few can safely return.
Eekman’s Alterative is effective for
home treatment. For example:

“Gentlemen: In the fall of 1905 I
contracted a very severe cold, which
settled on my lungs. At last I began
to raise sputum, and my physician
then .told me 1 must go to California
immediately. At this time I was ad
vised to take Eckman's Alterative. 1
stayed at home and commenced tak
ing it the last week in October. 1
began to improve, and the first week
in January, 1906, I resumed my regu
lar occupation, having gained 25
pounds, fully restored to health. It is
now seven years since my recovery
has been effected, and I can ndt
praise Eckman's Alterative too high
ly. 1 have recommended it with ex
cellent results.’’

Mixed With Sulphur Makes
Hair Soft, Lustrous and
Cures Dandruff.
The use of Sage and Sulphur for
restoring faded, gray hair to it«
natural color dates back to grand
mother's time. She kept her hair
beautifully darkened, glossy an
abundant with a brew of Sage Tea
and Sulphur. Whenever her hair
f>ll out or took on .that dull, faded
or streaked appearance this simple
mixture was applied with wonderful
effect.
But brewing at home is mussv
and out-of-date. Nowadays skilled
chemists do this better than our
selves. By asking at any drug store
for the ready to-use product called
"Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Hair
Remedy" you will get a large bot
tle for about 50 cents. Some drug
gists make their own. which is usu
ally too sticky, so insist upon get
ting “Wyeth’s," which can be de
pended upon to restore natural col
or and beauty to the hair, and is
splendid for dandruff, dry. feverish,
itchy scalp and falling hair.
A well-known ddwntown druggist
says his customers insist on Wy
eth's Sage and Sulphur ‘because,
they say. it darkens so naturally
and evenly that nobody^ can tell it
has been a polled— it's so easy to
use, too. You simply dampen i
sponge or soft brush and draw it
through your hair, taking one
strand at a time. Do this at night
and by morning the gray hair dis
appears: after another application
or two it is restored to its natural
color and looks glossy, soft and
abundant. Klkin Drug Co., special
